Frosted Flower Pins

I have been making some more stick pins this evening…. I picked up a package from my post office earlier today, it contained an order that I had placed on Etsy for some Lucite beads…

I made a few different coloured ones.. first up is the pink ones

and a couple of blue tones

a wee green one… I used a promarker to colour up the stick pin head on this one….

and finally a brown one… I bought all the stick pins from Wild Orchid Crafts

Home Sweet Home

This lovely little project was created as part of the Wild orchid Crafts DT Challenge for February, I decided to go shabby chic stylie with this one (my fav!)

The sun was streaming in the workshop window this afternoon as I sat making this.. it was fun πŸ™‚

The project idea was sent to all the DT members by Natasha who co-ordinates the Youtube “Wild Bunch”.. it started life off like this..

With a few licks of paint, some glitter and a few flowers it quckly takes on a whole new look..

Easter Bunny Frame

I made this little easter bunny frame from scratch tonight, inspired by the one I bought and decorated a couple of weeks ago.

Using bare chipboard, some tyvek and scortape I managed to get it to look the same, with the exception of the actual photograph window.. instead of a square, I die cut a wee bunny window instead πŸ™‚ Β  I know it doesnt look like there is a lot of room for a picture, but if you could imagine having a pic of your little one/grand baby / niece / nephew .. or even your hubby inside πŸ™‚

Shabby Birdie Card

Hi everyone… I hope your all basking in this gorgeous sunshine we are getting at the moment … but I do get the feeling this might just well be our summer!!!

Before I start my usual waffling, I just wanted to take time out to congratulate Helen (aka Crafty Helen and also my Stamping up Demo) on her new venture, she is opening up a craft shop!!!! how cool is that!!! … Β Helen, I just want to wish you every success with the shop, you will rock at it πŸ™‚ Β (p.s. put me down for a shelf) πŸ˜‰

I pottered around in the shed tonight, it as lovely and warm in here tonight and the sun was still shining through the workshop window, Β perfect conditions to make a nice wee card.

Tonights card is a chipboard easel card, it measures 4.25″ x 5.5″ . Β  Β I painted it blue and edged it with silver and white, then I took some bubble wrap and dipped it into some blue paint to give a nice textured bubble feel to the card..

Vintage Easter Duo

Happy Monday to you all πŸ™‚

It has been another gloriously sunny day here in Scotland.. 20 Degrees C !! warmer than Milan here today!…. long may it continue, infact I have checked out the 5 day forecast and its looking good πŸ˜‰

Here is a wee Easter duo that I made last night after my tidy up..

 

First up a small card (left) measuring 3.5″ x 4.5″

It has been a glorious spring day here in Scotland today… fingers crossed it stays like this for a long time πŸ™‚

I finally got my laptop fixed, been lost without it… and whilst it was going through the fixing process, I had a tidy up in my shed, put a lot of things away and also had a good old spring clean!

When I was having a sort through and putting things away I came across some lovely stampin up papers that Crafty Helen had sent me with one of my orders last year…. I kept them out and made a couple of tags with them late this afternoon.

Shabby Chic Flower Chest

I made this project last weekend on Sunday!!… oh my goodness what a quick and busy week it has been.

This is last weeks DT project for Wild Orchid Crafts πŸ™‚

This project started off Β its wee life looking a bit like this

I then cut out some chipboard pieces.. with a view to making a little mini to fit inside the box..

I then made the binding for the mini … see Laura Dennison Stack the Deck for the tutorial and cut and punched the edges

I picked some nice shabby chic patterned papers and covered the chipboard

I gave the box a coat of Gesso and rose pink acrylic paint, a generous helping of lovely flowers and hey presto!

Well better late than never as they say… I finally got my butt into gear and got the draw done for the Use it Up challenge that I posted here a month ago….

Tiny Pink Picture Frame

I have had a right old lazy day today… I got up bright and early, made a trip to the post office and mailed out all my packages..

Then took a drive to a local Hobbycraft and picked up a few bits n bobs,.. one of which, was this papier mache bare chipboard hanging photo frame… it looks really easy to make so will try and replicate creating one tomorrow πŸ™‚

I took the frame and gave it a couple of coats of Rose Pink Acrylic Paint..

I was cleansed, forgiven and would never bitch again!

I had a tidy up in my shed tonight, clearing away everything that I had dug out and used over the last few days… Β and had space to work.. space to create…

So that’s what I did… I got out messy inks and sprayed and dabbed and sprayed some more πŸ˜‰ and this is what I made
