Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to share a  quick and easy card I made on Friday using the new product from Colourcraft called SprinkleIT..

It is a super fine mica powder with a very high shine and very easy to work with, I used a versamark ink pad along with a fine detailed bird stamp from Hero Arts for today’s card..

  • Silver glitter paper 4 1/4″ x 4 1/4

Birthday Card

Hi everyone…

I have a birthday card to share today!   … It has been such a long time since I have made a card or even been up in my shed, but I should have a bit more time now that spring is here, lighter nights, better weather and Rosie can go out in the field rather than being cooped up in her stable..

So this is a birthday card I made for Beth, my son’s girlfriend, she had her 24th birthday a couple of weeks ago, and at the time I snapped a few photos of the card and this is me just getting round to the blog post now!

I used the following materials :-

  • Simon Says Stamp White Woodgrain Cardstock
  • Jane Davenport  Patterned Paper
  • Silver Glittered Paper (non shedding)
  • Stampin Up number dies
  • Scortape
  • Cosmic Shimmer Specialist Acrylic Glue

I also decorated the inside of the card, it is always nice to open a card to find a nicely decorated interior

Whimsical Summer

Whimsical Summer

blog hop banner colourcraft rubber dance

Hi Everyone!

A very warm welcome to the Fabulous Rubber Dance Art Stamps and Colourcraft Blog Hop!

My project for the blog hop today is a keyring holder and features the Whimsical Summer Stamp Set, Grungy swirls background stamp and Colourcraft Brusho and Aztec Pearl Paint.

Whimsical Summer 1

My project started of as a chipboard kit and I applied a layer of white gesso to all the elements

Whimsical Summer 2

I then started to apply my Brusho crystal colours to create a background, drying in between layers to ensure the colours did not bleedtoo much to give me 3 difinitive areas.. sky, background and grass

Whimsical Summer 3

For the houses, I mixed custom colours by adding Brusho to white gesso .. so versatile

I also used the grungy swirls background stamp over a few of the elements prior to painting with the brusho

Once all the painting was complete, I stamped out several of the whimsical summer stamps onto waterolour paper and used the brusho as a watercolour medium, then fussy cut out the elements and assembled the project
