A Wee Pink Egg House

Hi Everyone!..

Happy Saturday to you all 😀

I have a wee pink egg house to share with you today, this is the first of 2 that I have to share, I still have the other one to decorate…

Supplies List..

• Pink Egg House £1.00 from Hobbycraft
• Paperartsy Snowflake and Blush Chalk Paint
• Double Sided Tape 1/8th Inch
• Tim Holtz Vintage Platinum Glitter
• Styrofoam Eggs
• Dina Wakeley Matte Medium

I painted the whole house white first so that it did not alter the colour of the blush paint… left the inside white

Hope you liked today’s project.. I also finished my G45 Safari Adventure mini album today too.. I will take photo’s of that tonight and do the blog post tomorrow

Do what you love and love what you do.

Hi Everyone,

Tonight I made a start with book number two, I was late getting up to my shed, after 9pm but i managed to get the book finished 🙂

I used Diamond Starlight paint on tonight’s book along with tissue tape, fibres, and a wooden heart, if you missed last night’s blog post you can catch up here as these wee books are for a workshop at Stampers Grove in Edinburgh.

I love how shimmery these starlight paints are!

I love the mixed fibres and think they look nice against the shimmery background of the book cover..

50th Guest Book

Hi everyone!

A happy soggy wet Sunday to you all 🙂

The rain here has not stopped all day, or yesterday for that matter, and last night I had problems with the electrics in my wee shed.. moisture in a socket i think,  so glad hubby is an electrician, so fired him up there today to fix it lol 🙂 and all is well again, thankfully!

I have a book to share with you today, I was working on this last week and it is finished now, well the ice resin has cured and dried 🙂

It’s a guest book for my friend who is 50 next month, she is having a party, and I thought it would be nice to make a week book for her to pass around at her party so everyone can sign and leave a nice wee message for her

I did a double layer with the ice resin so that it gave the effect of floating stars.. hopefully the next picture shows this off a wee bitty.

I used the bind it all for the book’s binding, using black 3/4″ O Wires.

I also added some nice sparkly sequins to the inside of the book along with a few photo’s and sealed it all in with my fuse tool.

I hope you enjoyed the project this week.. I will be back next week with a regular stream, either Ustream or Youtube, but will notify via social media to let you all know

Christmas Notebook & Cards

Hi Everyone,

It is a very chilly Sunday here today with snow forecast later on this evening brrr…

I sat in bed last night and wrote out my Christmas card list and discovered that I needed to make more.. so I headed up to my wee shed, stuck the camera on and did a live broadcast on Ustreamtv..

First up I made 15 quick and easy Christmas cards…

supplies list :-

• White Cardstock 9″ x 2 3/4″ when folded makes a card 4 1/2″ x 2 3/4″

• Silver Mirror Board Cardstock

• Dimensional Adhesive

Once I had made my Christmas cards, I altered a little wooden spiral bound book that I bought last weekend after the workshop at Stampers Grove..

I also bought some new metallic paint which is fabulous and also available to buy at Stampers Grove, it is called Starlights by Imagination Crafts!

It is sooo shiney and pretty.. a must for any crafter!

Clean & Simple… Merry & Bright

Hi everyone,

Happy Sunday to you all!

The weather here today is absolutely miserable, it is a right old Winnie the Pooh day… blustery & wet

I have another Christmas card to share today, it is clean and simple and easy to mass produce, it’s mainly die cutting and assembling.

I used the following materials and tools to complete this card :-

• Thick White cardstock card size is 5″x 5″
• cuttlebug
• Dienamics Star Stax Dies
• Lil inker Designs Stitched Square Frames Die Set
• Glitter Cardstock
• and the Merry & Bright sentiment stamp from the Clearly Besotted Set the Scene stamp set
• Versafine Onyx Black Ink
• Double sided Dimensional adhesive tape plus a little bit of matte medium to help the tape stick to the glittered cardstock.

Christmas Shaker Card Video Tutorial

Boxed Card Set

I was up in my wee shed today preparing samples for a workshop that I am doing with Stampers Grove on Saturday 5th December 2015..

In the workshop we will be making a box set of cards, so that will be 4 cards, 4 envelopes and a cute little box to put them in, great little gifts ideas for friends and family

This little sample is a clean and simple version using a cute little scotty dog stamp made by Crafty Stamps, this is Stampers Grove’s own make of stamps 🙂

We will be using the envelope punch board by We R Memory Keepers to make the envelopes and box

There is a cute little belly band that keeps it all together..

The box holds 4 cards and 4 envelopes comfortably

They make such a great gift too.. I put several different sentiments on the inside for different occasions..

Darcy Wilkinson Sampler Workshop

YAY I finished my Sampler canvas finished today 🙂

I made this when I attended a class a couple of weeks ago with Stampers Grove and Darcy Wilkinson.

I still had a few bits n bobs to finish off, and did that today, I beaded the hanger, placed a beaded dangley bit from the denim pocket (bottom right).

It was a great day out and if you ever get the chance to go to a workshop with Darcy, i recommend you go for it as there is so much to learn and the projects are fun to make 🙂

Hippo Birdie to You!

I took myself off to my shed tonight to try out my new copic markers, i bought 5 sketch markers in warm grey tones and one light pink to colour in my elephants, bunnies and hippos 🙂

Halloween Apothecary Jars

Halloween Apothecary Jars..

I made another couple of apothecary jars today.. with the inspiration taken from some that I had seen over on pinterest.

So I now have some Wing of bat and eye of newt to keep the snake oil company 🙂

The lid on the Wing of Bat Jar is made from an old ribbon reel and wee stones out of my driveway 😉

The eye of newt jar stopper is made from layered greyboard and a wooden drawer handle
