Blogmas Day 22

Hi there everyone,

A very warm welcome to my blog and to Blogmas Day 22!

I have a quick and easy project for you this evening… I needed to make a gift wallet, now normally I would make these from scratch, but with time ticking on and a million and one things still needing done I opted for the quickie option and it is a good one to keep under your hat.

I used a Papermania Geometric Gift Wallet and added some chipboard elements to make it more christmassy

supplies list :-

• Papermania Geometric Gift Wallets
• Scrapiniec Chipboard Snowflakes
• Letter M Chipboard Alpha
• Imagination Crafts Starlights Pain in White Gold
• Glue

This is the reverse side of it… I do have a blog post and a you tube video on how to make these envelopes from scratch if you are interested in making some for yourself

I love how it turned out and i even stuck some of the unused snowflake arms that I chopped off the top right snowflake into the letter M to give it a bit of dimension

A Merry Christmas

Hi everyone..

Welcome to Blogmas Day 8…

I can’t believe how fast the days are flying in… the good thing is, I have 3 Christmas cards made already 😉

I have another card to share with you all, simple yet I love it.

Supplies list :-

• Daler and Rowney Watercolour card for the base
• Scrapiniec Chipboard Shapes
• Paperartsy Hyde Park Semi Opaque Paint
• Deco Art Media Tinting Base (added to the Hyde Park to make it opaque)
• Papermania 2mm clear Rhinestones
• Clearly Besotted Merry Christmas Stamp
• Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape
• Versafine Onyx Black Ink

I love the simplicity of this card, not too many things going on… just paint a chipboard shape and add to your card 🙂

I’m out tomorrow for my works Christmas Lunch, but should be back in time to make something for the blog … I have a workshop on at Stampers Grove this Saturday and have another tray to alter… so that will probably be my blog post..

Purple Rain-Deer

Hi Everyone..

Welcome to Blogmas Day 6!

Today’s Christmas crafty project is a couple of purple reindeer Glitter and Shimmer 🙂

I have made these for Alex at work’s daughter to hang on her wee christmas tree, I made the glittery one first and I think If i was making another glittery one I would give it a base layer of paint the same colour of glitter I was going to cover it with, the reason being, if you look hard enough you can see the paper mache brown shining through… did i mention i got these at hobbycraft reduced to 50p each.. i love a wee bargain

But as this will be going on a Christmas tree I don’t think you will notice it too much..as after the glittery one was finished, I painted the other one with Imagination Crafts Lilac Mist Starlights paint… i like this one better

I forgot to mention that I gave the glittery one a good old spray with Crafters Companion shiny varnish spray to keep the glitter in, as it sheds like crazy

I really need to get my christmas cards made, so tomorrow will be a card post 🙂

Blogmas Day #1

Hi Everyone!

Hope you are all having a good week… and it is Friday tomorrow YAY!… I do love the weekends 😀

Remember last week I mentioned I was going to buy more post it notes and make a wee set and record a video tutorial?.. I managed to get it all done and as I write this the video is uploading to youtube 😀 so you will get two blog posts tonight ..

I made them nice and sparkly with pink and white glitter card, I also used a punch set that I bought in Hobbycraft a month or so ago, you get 4 small punches in a pack.. hearts flowers, circles and stars..

I love how these turned out and I will be sending these to a special wee girl I know who will just love them 😉

I nearly forgot to mention, I fancied doing a blog post for every day up until christmas day a bit like vlogmas instead more of a blogmas 🙂
