Birthday Card

Hi everyone…

I have a birthday card to share today!   … It has been such a long time since I have made a card or even been up in my shed, but I should have a bit more time now that spring is here, lighter nights, better weather and Rosie can go out in the field rather than being cooped up in her stable..

So this is a birthday card I made for Beth, my son’s girlfriend, she had her 24th birthday a couple of weeks ago, and at the time I snapped a few photos of the card and this is me just getting round to the blog post now!

I used the following materials :-

• Simon Says Stamp White Woodgrain Cardstock
• Jane Davenport  Patterned Paper
• Silver Glittered Paper (non shedding)
• Stampin Up number dies
• Scortape
• Cosmic Shimmer Specialist Acrylic Glue

I also decorated the inside of the card, it is always nice to open a card to find a nicely decorated interior

Bon Voyage Card

Hi Everyone,

I have a wee Bon Voyage Card to share with you today, I was asked to make this for a friend at work, her friends are emigrating to Australia…

There were a few key elements to incorporate into the card including a Pina Colada..

Supplies used:-

• White Card Base 11″ x 5.5″ scored at 5.5″ to make a 5.5″ square card
• Bright & Cheery Patterned Paper
• First Edition Die Set which includes a pina colada cocktail glass
• Stitched square die
• Memory Box Alphabet Die Set

I also popped an Australian flag in the top right hand corner of the card ..

This was a fun card to make.

There is beauty in simplicity

Hi Everyone…

Hope you are all doing well …

Seeing as the weather is so dreich today I went up to my shed and made a wee card after work

I created several brusho backgrounds on Tim Holtz water colour paper a few weeks back, and had a few leftover pieces on my desk.. so decided to make this wee card

The card base is 4″ x 4″ with a black card layer followed by the brusho top layer

the skeleton leave stamp is from a Paperartsy stamp set by Lin Brown Series 29 and this was stamped directly onto the paper using stazon purple ink

The card was assembled and finished off with a Tim Holtz small talk sticker for the sentiment..

I have been busy this week working on my next design team project for colourcraft will be live on their blog on the 17th June at 10am.. i’m excited about it already 🙂
