Tiny Milk Carton Easter Treat Holders

Hi Everyone!

I have moved back into my shed today YAY!..

I had problems with moisture in one of the sockets, so I had to wait for a couple of dry days to dry my shed out and today the sockets finally worked without tripping the house lol..

So the heaters have been on all day full blast… so while I was up there I had a good old tidy up and sort out, and it feels good to have a clean work space again..

Today’s wee project is tiny milk cartons that hold tiny chocolate easter eggs.. these are cute, and they are also for an upcoming workshop at Stampers Grove, on April 1st, I’ll leave the details at the bottom of this post if you fancy joining us..

I also made some from my jelly print papers too

Easter Bunny Frame

I made this little easter bunny frame from scratch tonight, inspired by the one I bought and decorated a couple of weeks ago.

Using bare chipboard, some tyvek and scortape I managed to get it to look the same, with the exception of the actual photograph window.. instead of a square, I die cut a wee bunny window instead ๐Ÿ™‚ ย  I know it doesnt look like there is a lot of room for a picture, but if you could imagine having a pic of your little one/grand baby / niece / nephew .. or even your hubby inside ๐Ÿ™‚

Supplies Used :-

  • Bare Chipboard
  • Tyvek Paper
  • Yellow/Orange Sweetheart Blooms Product Code FS-00047 from Wild Orchid Crafts
  • Diamond Stickles
  • Folkart Lemonade Acrylic Paint
  • Sizzix Bunny #2 Die 38-0703
  • 2mm Clear Rhinestones
  • Scortape, Hot Glue
  • Burlap
  • Cuttlebug Circles embossing folder
  • Yellow tear it Sand it Emboss it Ranger Distress Paper

and the back

and the depth/dimension.. plenty of room for a photograph

Thanks so much for popping in ๐Ÿ™‚

Easter Nest Box

Hi everyone… hope your weekend is going well.

Today I have an Easter Nest Project to share with you that I created for Wild Orchid Crafts ย as part of their Youtube Design Team.

My daughter was throwing out an old mug box, and I managed to get it up to my shed before it hit the bucket! … this is what the box looked like before I altered and decorated it

I peeled off the cellophane skin

Gave the whole box a coat of Gesso inside and out

Then I took some Linen Acyrlic paint by Docrafts Artist and painted the whole box with 2 coats

I then picked some patterned paper .. I chose My Minds Eye Lost and Found Collection

and I covered the lid and base

I had bought some Jungle Moss and Reindeer Moss last week and it was just perfect to make a nest for the top of the box

I used Glossy accents to adhere it to the lid of the box

next I took some englaise lace from wild orchid crafts and fixed a band around the lid and base and decorated the top with flowers and pearls and the bottom with buttons

The flowers were scrunched up into little balls to give them a crinkled effect then I stuck 2 together before adhering them onto the lace and topping with a pearl

I then made a label for the front of the box using the “b” side of the patterned paper, some victorian edge scissors, some skeleton leaved, a button and a flower.. oh and some old sticky letters from Karen Foster Designs

Next up was the egg shell for the centre for the moss nest… ย I used 3 colours of paint for the egg

I love the colour the egg turned out.. all creamy yellowey and greeney

All that was left to do now was to pop the chicks in and take some more photographs of the finished Easter Nest Box

I had a lot of fun making this project… a full supplies list is listed below.. thanks for popping in ๐Ÿ™‚ and enjoy your weekend!
