Snowflake Pillow Box

Hi everyone!

Hope you are all having a good weekend..

I have had a productive day in my shed this afternoon making things for future workshops, blog posts and gifts.

I’ve been glittering snowmen, papering & covering things, recording videos, making cards etc.. and I also make this little pillow box gift holder.

These little boxes are perfect for small gift, chocolates, a gift card or jewelry and would look great peeping out the top of a Christmas stocking.

I have a couple of video’s and photographs to edit and prepare for this coming week, so I best be off and make myself busy again 🙂

Indigoblu Challenge #21 Magical Masking

Hi Everyone!

It is time for another new challenge at the Indigoblu Challenge Blog, this month the theme is Magical Masking.     Now, I had never heard of it before so i needed to do a bit of researching to find out what i needed to do, then once I had gathered some inspiration, I managed to create this cute wee card using masking tape, ink  and stamps  🙂

This card is fun and easy to make, it comes together quickly and it uses two stamps,  the sentiment,  Inspire from Sarah’s Choice and also the Stylised Flowers Stamp.

LOVE Book

Hi everyone… and a very happy Sunday to you all…

This book that I made today will be heading along to my Indigoblu demonstrations.

 

supplies used :-

• White Geesoo Good Gesso.
• Banana Custard Acrylic paint made into a spray
• Distress Inks : Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey
• Indigoblu Design Alphabet Stamp Set
• Indigoblu Vintage Flourish Stamp
• Indigoblu Flitterglu Starter Set

It all started with a layer of Geesso good

 

I added some pink text patterned paper that covered the entire surface of theheart. Then I added some Banana Custard acrylic paint to a bottle to make up a lovely creamy yellow spray..  then i tool the diamond stencil and added distress ink randomly over the surface.

I inked around the edges, then edged in Lancashire Rose megaflakes…added some embelishments, more ink, some more stamping, a wee bit embossing, some cardboard box offcuts… et voila!… although I made add to it later 😉  I’m not sure I have finished yet.

 

If I made any further changes and additions to the book, I will post an update

Besotted?….Clearly!

“Party” and “Celebrate” Tags

I made a couple of tags tonight for a wee change,  the stamps, inks and the copic markers got some action 🙂

I made these on Ustream too, although didn’t record the show (i keep forgetting!) and Karen and Ellen popped in for a wee visit too 🙂 thanks ladies

Just Saying Hello!

I have the day off work today to make it a nice long weekend break, so I headed up to my workshop and started creating 🙂

I love the butterfly on this card, it was part of a multi-pack from the Papermania Henbury Lane Range, which I am really loving at the moment.

Supplies List :-

• Turquoise Cardstock from the paper Mill Shop cut to 8″ x 4″ to make a 4″ x 4″ Card
• Uniball Signo Opaque White Pen for the Faux Stitching around the perimeter of the card
• Papermania Henbury Lane Patterned paper Light Blue Polka Dots (I distressed the edges)
• Memories Chalk Ink in Misty teal around the distressed paper edges
• Papermania Henbury Lane Felt Butterfly (you get 12 in a pack)
• Stickles : Stardust all over the wings of the butterfly
• Glossy Accents by Ranger to adhere the butterfly to the patterned paper
• Basic Grey “Just Saying Hello” Clear Stamp Set
• Stazon Baby Blue Opaque Ink Pad.
• Double Sided Tape to adhere the patterened paper to the cardstock.

Moulin Mauve Love Tag ;-)

I made this tag tonight…. and wow I love it 🙂  It gives me the feel that it’s from the Moulin Rouge Era

A bit of this and a bit of that…..

Ok…. i’m starting to get a little bit worried here, it’s about me and this whole flower thing that’s going on in my workshop at the moment … I’ve promised myself NOT to make any flowers this week, it’s becoming too much of an obsession….. Flower OCD 🙂

SO …..yesterday saw me making yet more flowers…… felt flowers!……felt flowers that I had to sew together !!….. and here’s the ironic thing ..I cant sew !!    Me…, I was the bane of my sewing teachers life at school, I just didn’t get the whole sewing thing…  so now i’m sewing flowers…OMG!  Quick someone phone my old sewing teacher, someone let her know I can sew after all…. and it’s only taken me 28 years YAY!!

Here is my flower… I’m so proud of it, I might just do a tutorial on how to make one…. but not this week 😉

I enjoyed making that one so much I made another, this time smaller and all pink and lovely 🙂

Then I decided to try out my Ranger Glossy Accents on a Making Memories Polka Dot Flower……. It turned out great!!

And finally a sneeky peeek at a tag I made for a mini album that I’m making at the moment… can you guess what colour it’s going to be? 😉
