Butterflies . . . . .

Its a wee bit blustery out there tonight .. it seems that Scotland is in for a bit of a battering with hurricane force winds sweeping across the country!

Tonight In the workshop I made an altered/decorated A5 ring bound notebook.

The front panel I had started a couple of months back when I got into he old sewing kick, and I found it by accident in one of my drawers tonight, Β  it was just perfect for the colour scheme of the painted covers so I used it πŸ˜‰

I painted all sides of the front and back covers, then did a bit of stamping with Brilliance starlight silver ink.. and some new Urban stamps from papermania

and the back page…

Thanks for popping in πŸ™‚

Shabby September…

Tonight’s project is a little material notebook.. • Material from charity shop
  • Lace & some May Arts Lace Trim
  • Leftover Seam Binding bits from a previous project

  • Water colour paper
  • Blue Seed Beads
  • Puffy Hearts
  • Eyelets
  • September is a rub on
  • handmade paper material label
Its also a great wee project for using up leftover bits πŸ™‚

A bit of this and a bit of that…..

Ok…. i’m starting to get a little bit worried here, it’s about me and this whole flower thing that’s going on in my workshop at the moment … I’ve promised myself NOT to make any flowers this week, it’s becoming too much of an obsession….. Flower OCD πŸ™‚

SO …..yesterday saw me making yet more flowers…… felt flowers!……felt flowers that I had to sew together !!….. and here’s the ironic thing ..I cant sew !! Β  Β Me…, I was the bane of my sewing teachers life at school, I just didn’t get the whole sewing thing… Β so now i’m sewing flowers…OMG! Β Quick someone phone my old sewing teacher, someone let her know I can sew after all…. and it’s only taken me 28 years YAY!!

Here is my flower… I’m so proud of it, I might just do a tutorial on how to make one…. but not this week πŸ˜‰

I enjoyed making that one so much I made another, this time smaller and all pink and lovely πŸ™‚

Then I decided to try out my Ranger Glossy Accents on a Making Memories Polka Dot Flower……. It turned out great!!

And finally a sneeky peeek at a tag I made for a mini album that I’m making at the moment… can you guess what colour it’s going to be? πŸ˜‰

I LOVE CRAFTING πŸ™‚
