Festive Tray

Hi Everyone!

Welcome to Blogmas Day 9!

I made it ….. by the skin of my teeth with today’s project 🙂

I still have a few bits n bobs to add to this but it is almost there so thought I would share it as is..

I am at Stampers Grove tomorrow making festive trays with the lovely ladies and this is sample tray No. 2

These trays are perfect for filling with goodies (tea/coffee/biscuits or toiletries/perfume/makeup or even sit a dolly or a big teddy in the middle and wrap up in cellophane with a big bow on top..

I want to add some glittery snowflakes (using the Tim Holtz dies I used earlier in the week) along the outside edges just to finish this off but I will need to do that tomorrow morning.

I’m off to bed now as it is an early start for me in the morning, then I will see you all tomorrow evening for another blogmas project… I’m thinking it might be a gift box 😉

A warm welcome to Blogmas day 7

I mentioned last night that today’s post was going to be a card.. here it is 🙂

It is a 4 x 4 card and similar to the one i made the other day, but with this one I tried out my new sizzix 3D embossing folder that I bought at the weekend at Stampers Grove..

It also uses the new Tim Holtz /Sizzix Thinlets snowflake dies that I used the other day too… here is a wee picture of the ones I bought, I am hoping to use the branches dies very soon too..

Supplies List

• White Cardstock 8″ x 4″ and scored at 4″ so when folded makes a 4″ x 4″ card base
• White Cardstock for the top embossed layer
• Sizzix 3D Embossing Folder
• Tim Holtz Alterations Snowflake Die Set
• White Glitter Paper
• Aleene’s Tacky glue
• Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape
• Tim Holtz Chit Chat
• Black Soot Distress Ink
• Small star punch and silver glittered cardstock

I love all the texture in this wee card  and it is very white.. almost too white like snow 🙂

Christmas cards already….. surely not?

A Card from Laura (Paper Dragonflies)

I received a lovely package in the mail today from Laura @ Paper Dragonflies .    I had sent her a package with a few bits n bobs in it last month, and the weird thing is I didn’t tell her I was sending one,  and she didn’t tell me she was sending mine until she got back home from the Post office to find that my parcel had been delivered 🙂

Thanks so much for the lovely card Laura, I love the Journalling Book, Poinsettia and Snowflakes… guess what? it’s started snowing here again tonight!!
