Cookie Box with a Difference

I have another project for you all on behalf of Wild Orchid Crafts… A Cookie Box with a difference 🙂

My friend Deb sent me some gorgeous cookie and cup cake die cut boxes to make and today I really fancied making something lovely, and this was just the ticket!

The paper line used for this Box is K & Company Wild Raspberry Collection, one that I dont have.. but will be on my shopping list for next months craft shopping 🙂

I took part in the Ribbon Reel fortnightly blog challenge last week and the winners were announced today… guess what.. my card made it into the top 3 😀 woot!

 and was awarded a wee Blog badge :-)this is the card I submitted… I had loads of fun taking part and the next challenge looks fab too 😉

Workshop Makeover

Today I painted my workshop…. I love the new colour .. Its called Sea Holly… Is’nt it pretty 🙂

Naked Nature Mini Book

I made this Mini book yesterday and the inspiration came from the pile of corrugated cardboard that was left over after i’d opened up the packages that my online crafting purchases had been delivered in 🙂

Its a naked nature mini book, naked because the cardboard is left almost in its bare state, and nature because i;m going to use it to take photographs of flora and fauna that I come across and identify from my walks with the dogs 🙂

Love Nest Wall Hanging

I was watching Lori Lennox on Ustream this morning and she was showing us all her lovely projects and ATC’s that she has made over the years and there was one particular project that I absolutely loved! She had made a mini album that had an accordian fold method, joined together with metal rings, I was really inspired and wanted to make one for myself, but after having a nose through my chipboard I discovered I only had enough for either a really small mini or I could adapt it to something else… so I did the latter and this is what I came up with….  a lovely wee wall hanging photo frame!    If you get a chance, hope over to Lorri’s blog, her work is amazing 🙂

Whilst i was making the project live on Ustream a couple of the girls gave me some really helpful advice regarding embossing and stamping and inks, so a special thankyou to Rach (Rach0113) & Clare (gotpaintinmyhair) 🙂

I am really loving the metal embelishments that Wild Orchid Crafts have in their store at the moment too 🙂
